Paris, France — June 18, 2026

María Ana García, Manager of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment of SEPCON, was selected as one of the three Field Excellence Award finalists at the Women in Pipe Awards 2026, a ceremony held on June 18 in Paris. The award recognizes women who play technical and operational roles of excellence in the pipeline and pipeline industry worldwide.

The 2026 edition brought together 36 applications from 13 countries and 28 companies, consolidating itself as one of the most relevant recognition platforms in the sector on an international scale. Reaching the three finalists of the Field Excellence Award, representing SEPCON and Latin America, is an achievement that reflects both the individual trajectory of María Ana and the level of operational demand that the company maintains in its projects.

María Ana has led the Security, Quality and Environment Management System in EPC projects executed under high demand technical, geographical and logistics conditions, contributing to the security records that the company maintains throughout its operational history. His nomination was supported by that concrete and measurable trajectory in the field.

For SEPCON, this recognition reaffirms that operational excellence does not distinguish genres: it is built with technical criteria, rigor in management and daily commitment on site. María Ana’s nomination in an international scenario of the magnitude of the Women in Pipe Awards is, at the same time, a recognition of it and an external validation of the standard with which SEPCON operates.
